Annual Financial and Operational Report of ME "Volynpryrodresurs" (VPR) for 2022

The Municipal Enterprise "Volynpryrodresurs" of the Volyn Regional Council continues to play a pivotal role in the legal extraction and sale of amber in Ukraine. In 2022, despite challenges faced by the state and its economy, the enterprise maintained stable operations, ensuring financial contributions to the regional budget, creating new jobs, and fostering the development of the regional economy.

The following data presents the financial and economic performance indicators for 2022, particularly in the context of the joint activity agreement.

Amber Extraction and Revenue from Sales

Under the joint activity agreement with LLC "Mineral Extraction," the Municipal Enterprise "Volynpryrodresurs" extracted 4,710.430 kg of amber of various fractions and quality groups in 2022, selling 3,247.923 kg for a total of 43.1 million UAH. As of February 14, 2023, the amber stock in the warehouse amounted to 1,219.067 kg.

Amber sales are conducted based on prices approved by the classifier of the State Gemological Center of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. According to gemologists' assessments, Volyn amber is of high quality.

Dividends Paid to the Volyn Regional Council

For 2022, based on quarterly financial and economic performance, 1,297,103 UAH was paid to the general fund of the Volyn Regional Budget from a 15% share of net profit.
