As part of their visit to the Volyn region, the Finnish volunteers also visited the mining ME Volynpryrodresurs.

One of the key topics for Volyn, presented at the Tenth International Scientific and Practical Conference “Subsoil Use in Ukraine. Investment Prospects”, was the report titled: “Restoration and Expansion of Geological-Prognostic Mapping at a Scale of 1:200,000 for Ukrainian Polissia with Assessment of Amber Prospects within Sheets M-35-II, -III, -IV, -V, -VIII, -IX.”

From September 17–19, 2025, the Baltic Peat Producers Forum 2025 (BPPF) was held in Riga, a leading European industry event that brings together representatives of the peat industry, researchers, and partners. This year’s forum theme was: “Peat – A Strategically Important Resource for Food Production and the Green Environment.”

Municipal Enterprise Volynpryrodresurs was established in 2016 to prevent illegal amber mining. Has it managed to fulfill its function, how has the enterprise’s work changed during the full-scale invasion, and is it unprofitable?

On April 13, 2025, the Municipal Enterprise "Volynpryrodresurs" of the Volyn Regional Council celebrates the 9th anniversary of its founding. During this time, the enterprise has become a model of effective management of Volyn's natural resources and an example of how a municipal structure can be successful, modern, and development-oriented.

The deputies unanimously approved the report of Anatolii Kapustiuk, director of the ME "Volynpryrodresurs" of the Volyn Regional Council, noting the stable operation of the enterprise.
