Financial and Operational Report of ME "Volynpryrodresurs" (VPR) for the First Half of 2024 Compared to the First Half of 2023
The Municipal Enterprise "Volynpryrodresurs" was established by the Volyn Regional Council to develop mineral resources and conduct legal amber extraction, with the aim of creating new jobs and contributing to the budgets of both the Volyn Regional Council and the state.
The enterprise allocates funds to the general fund of the Volyn Regional Budget from a portion of its net profit, generating revenue for local communities, which supports infrastructure development and the enhancement of social services. Based on the financial and economic performance for the first half of 2024, the enterprise surpassed the results of the previous year.

In 2024, the Municipal Enterprise "Volynpryrodresurs" of the Volyn Regional Council continued its successful extraction of amber and peat. The financial and economic performance indicators are presented below, including those related to the implementation of the joint activity agreement with LLC "Mineral Extraction" and the agreement with the State Enterprise "Volyntorff."
The following data compares the performance for the first half of 2023 and the first half of 2024 under the joint activity agreement with LLC "Mineral Extraction" and the agreement with the State Enterprise "VolynTorff"
Amber Extraction and Revenue from Sales
ME "Volynpryrodresurs" holds four special permits (Nos. 6172, 6173, 6174, and 6175) for the use of subsoil resources for amber extraction.
Under the joint activity agreement with LLC "Nadrovidobuvannya," the Municipal Enterprise "Volynpryrodresurs" extracted 2,130.792 kg of amber of various fractions and quality groups in the first half of 2024, selling 2,517.195 kg for a total of 26,744,849.71 UAH. The amber stock in the warehouse amounted to 264.821 kg.
Sales of amber of various quality groups and fractions are conducted in accordance with prices approved by the classifier of the State Gemological Center of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. According to gemologists' assessments, Volyn amber is of high quality.

Dividends Paid to the Volyn Regional Council
For the first half of 2024, based on quarterly financial and economic performance, 4,790,995.00 UAH was paid to the general fund of the Volyn Regional Budget from a 15% share of net profit.
