Director’s Report on the Financial and Production Results of ME Volynpryrodresurs for 2020-2025 and Development Strategy
On 6 February 2026, during the meeting of the standing commission on the use of jointly owned property of the territorial communities of villages, settlements and cities of the region, the Report of the Director of ME Volynpryrodresurs on the financial and production results of the enterprise for the period 2020-2025 was presented and approved. The strategy for the further development of the enterprise was also introduced.
The report provided a detailed overview of the stages of formation and development of the municipal enterprise, starting from the moment of its establishment, the key challenges of the first years of activity, and the transition to systematic operations beginning in 2020. Particular attention was paid to management decisions that became the basis for stabilising the enterprise’s activities and achieving positive financial and economic results.
The report covered a wide range of issues, including:
the prerequisites for the enterprise’s activities and the challenges of the 2016–2019 period;
the beginning of the enterprise’s systematic development from 2020 and the first results of effective management;
the organisation of the first open amber auction in Ukraine;
the enterprise’s participation in the development of state policy in the field of subsoil use;
the impact of martial law on the enterprise’s activities;
financial and economic performance indicators for 2020–2025;
the volume of taxes and fees paid;
amber extraction indicators, as well as peat extraction and sales;
implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and certification;
activities within the Ukrainian Peat Association;
existing challenges affecting amber extraction activities in 2024–2025;
environmental monitoring activities;
ensuring transparency and openness of operations;
participation in conferences, development of partnerships, and the formation of the enterprise’s corporate identity, trademark and communication strategy.
A separate section of the presentation introduced members of the commission to the Strategic Development Plan of ME Volynpryrodresurs for the medium-term period 2026-2031. The strategy provides for maintaining stable production and financial performance, developing both the amber and peat sectors, expanding the range of mineral resources, increasing transparency and strengthening cooperation with territorial communities.
