ESG Report of ME Volynpryrodresurs for 2025

The municipal enterprise Volynpryrodresurs of the Volyn Regional Council (ME Volynpryrodresurs) has published its ESG Report for 2025. The document provides an overview of the enterprise’s activities during the reporting period and outlines its approaches to natural resource management, cooperation with employees and communities, and the system of corporate governance.

ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) is an approach to evaluating an enterprise’s activities that covers environmental, social and governance aspects. It includes issues related to the responsible use of natural resources and environmental impact, working conditions and engagement with employees and communities, as well as transparency in management, compliance with legislation and adherence to ethical principles in decision-making. The application of the ESG approach enables a comprehensive assessment of an enterprise’s activities, taking into account long-term economic, social and environmental impacts.

The year 2025 became a period of practical decisions and expanded responsibility for the enterprise. ME Volynpryrodresurs maintained stable operations in the amber extraction sector while also making significant progress in developing its peat sector, which represents not only diversification of activities but also a contribution to the formation of a modern peat industry in Ukraine.

During the year, ME Volynpryrodresurs participated in industry events, scientific and practical conferences, and professional meetings in Ukraine and abroad. The enterprise remained an active participant in professional dialogue, hosted industry experts and representatives of state institutions at its production facilities, and took part in industry events and international conferences.

Social responsibility remained an important component of the enterprise’s activities in 2025. The enterprise continued to ensure contributions to budgets at various levels, support local communities and maintain employment. Particular attention was paid to cooperation with the academic and educational environment, laying the foundation for long-term partnerships with educational institutions.

The ESG report also contains information on environmental monitoring, compliance with environmental legislation, and the management processes implemented at the enterprise.

The document has been prepared in accordance with sustainable development reporting approaches and published to inform the public, government authorities and other stakeholders.
